5 Tips for Talking to a Stylist About Cutting Your Lace Wig Hair

If you are using a stylist, you do not want to just plop yourself in the chair. You will need to discuss some important processes with them before they take scissors to your wig hair. Once cut, it will not grow back. You’ll save yourself a lot of heartache (and probably a few bucks) in the long run.
Here are five easy tips we recommend to make your discussion with a stylist a productive one:
1.     Make sure your stylist has experience cutting lace wig hair. Our lace wigs are made in a way that a stylist who normally cuts hair can also cut your lace wig hair since each hair strand is tied individually into the lace base.
2.     Don’t Be Embarrassed. This might seem obvious. But some women are embarrassed about wearing a wig. The last thing you want is an overzealous stylist cutting your hair too short and then hearing… “oops.” Remember the hair does not grow back!
3.     Discuss style choices. Talk to your stylist about the style you like. Bring a picture. A picture is worth a thousand words.
4.     Keep asking questions. You might feel like you’re insulting your stylist by asking questions. But it's your wig, so ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable.
5.     Talk maintenance products. Happy with your cut and style? Great! Use the correct products to maintain your style to keep your hair looking great.
